Chad Huggins is a director, writer and producer of several award winning short films, documentaries, music videos, broadcast commercials and live television events. Chad is involved from conception to completion, including writing, directing, budgeting, casting, and editing. Films, screenplays and videos have been showcased and honored at various national and international film festivals, while also airing worldwide on television stations. As a technical consultant, Chad provides planning, design, budgeting, engineering and integration service for entertainment and production facility builds and upgrades.
A talented writer, director, and editor, Chad's credits include "Best Mockumentary" at the New York International Short Film Festival, Honorable Mention from the Black Filmmakers Hall of Fame Film Festival, 3rd Place at the International Poetry Video Show, Honorable Mention at the New York Film and Video Festival and winner of the Writebros Excellence in Comedy award at the Action On Film Screenwriting competition. Chad's films have also screened on IFC, PBS, and various regional, national, and international television stations.
An accomplished commercial director, Chad has helmed pay-per-view sporting events, edited and directed national commercial spots, directed for KPBS, and his work can also be seen on the IFC television channel as well as on IFILM. He has directed music videos that have aired on MTV, MTV2, VH1, BET, and the California Music Channel. Chad is also a talented writer, his poetry and short stories having been published in national magazines.
